Job/volunteer description:
The Conservation Foundation is looking for a Farm Manager, a full-time, year-round position reporting to our Director of Land Protection and based out of our organic, 60-acre McDonald Farm in Naperville, where we run an organic vegetable farming operation on the tillable acreage (about 49 acres). The Farm Manager will manage day-to-day agricultural activities, lead and supervise our farm crew and volunteers, and interact with our Green Earth Harvest program customers. Excellent agricultural, organizational and communication skills are important qualifications for this position, as well as the ability to lead and inspire others. The ideal candidate for this position is experienced with a farm of this size, a skilled multi-tasker, is reliable and is committed to exceeding customer expectations. We’re an energetic group and are looking for a passionate individual to join our organization and lead this program.

Compensation
Salary commensurate with experience.
