About the farm: Looking for a farming opportunity?
Good Earth Gardens is located on the renowned fruit loop in Bayfield, WI. We are a small berry farm raising blueberries, blackberries, gooseberries, currants and some fruit trees along with vegetables, herbs, and some flowers. We currently sell at the Bayfield Farmers Market and from our farm stand. As we get ready to retire we are looking for someone to operate the farm starting in spring 2020. The ideal candidate would be a motivated and responsible individual or family looking to operate a small diversified farm. Although the farm is currently small there is opportunity to grow and being located on the Bayfield fruit loop there is no shortage of customers. This is a great opportunity to run a small farm in a gorgeous part of Northern Wisconsin, just minutes away from downtown Bayfield and Lake Superior. We are flexible with arrangements in 2020 including a lease agreement or outright sale of the farm. We are also open to mentoring a new farmer with possible access to farm equipment.
