About the farm: For sale or rent, looking for one or more farmers: 260 acres which can possibly be broken into smaller tracts. Ground is located in east central Kansas and is mostly highly productive river bottom ground. There is an 1800 square foot, 2 story farm house with the possibility of up to 5 bedrooms and a 36X64 shed on the property. There is 130 acres of river bottom ground in one parcel, 80 acres of brome in the other with the balance in timber. 96 of the 130 acres has just been seeded to native grass, it could be grazed or turned back to row crops. This would also be an excellent site for alley cropping. The timber is mixed hardwood including Oak, Walnut, Hickory and Pecan among others. There is river frontage along the south and east side of the property, with a stream cutting through the north side. The stream is home to multiple springs, one of which has been developed for livestock water.
