Retired early from my previous life, I have found my purpose in working with animals and have been fostering cats and dogs for the past 5 years rehabbing and re-homing them. To finally make my childhood dream come true of owning my own little ranch, I am planning on starting my own holistic animal rescue and sanctuary for small and farm animals. I am looking for a property preferably in the northern half of California; western half of Oregon; or within an hour range of Denver, Colorado Springs, or within 30 minutes of any of the mountain towns in CO. This will be a 501(c) project, not a commercial operation.
The property needs to have water or water rights, as well as electricity. I prefer existing stables/hay storage. A homestead is not necessarily required, as I prefer having my own home built to specifications that include a holistic healing place.
If you have land and want to make sure it will not be developed, but it remain natural as a place for animals to heal, please contact me.
