At The Land Connection, we know how big of a gift spending your holiday gift budget locally is to not only your holiday gift recipients but also to our local small businesses. We LOVE being able to speak directly to the farmers, makers, and crafters we purchase from. Connecting those amazing local small businesses with our friends and family is a fun way to act as a “local explorer” and build up the small business diversity that makes where we live so amazing.
We invite you to see the people behind the local gifts available at the Market this week! Here are just a few:
Orlando is a TLC’s favorite, and you’ll often see TLC staff racing to buy his amazing bread before we get busy with other Market tasks. We adore Tati’s Bakery Challah, Argentinian Medialunas, and Venezuelan Andean Bread.
CHAP Small Batch LLC
Daniel and his son are the dream team behind the beautiful resign art and jewelry of CHAP Small Batch. They might not have the showiest booth at the market, but partly that’s because they sell almost as fast as they can make!
Melissa Morgan Art
The detail of Melissa’s beautiful jewelry is something that has to be seen in person to fully appreciate. Her smiling personality and love of nature shine through her beautiful resin necklaces, stone earrings, and delicate wired bracelets.
Luna Mushroom Co
Jingxin Duan is new to the market vendor line up for this holiday season. They really love growing mushrooms and that enthusiasm is infectious! We are pretty convinced that mushroom grow kits are the next “houseplant craze” and Luna Mushroom Co has us convinced even those of us with “black thumbs” can enjoy homegrown mushrooms.
CU Adventures in Time & Space
Chris and Anna Lukeman have the perfect adventure to gift this holiday season and they are ready to help you pick it out! Their enthusiasm make us feel totally ready to try out an “escape room” and we love that they have both digital and in-person options to gift for those folks on your list who love experiences.
