You’re invited to Roots & Roasts, a casual coffee meet up from The IDEA Farm Network! Join us for a relaxed morning at The Farmacy Farmstand, where we’ll hear about Pearl’s operation. She will share how she grows naturally without the use of chemicals and will talk about other sustainable methods used on her farm. Feel free to come with questions, or simply to join us to share your stories, and build the relationships that make our community of farmers, scientists, advocates, food entrepreneurs, and consumers strong. We’re brewing the coffee—you bring the ideas and conversation.

Meet out host: Pearl Carpenter of The Farmacy Farmstand

Since 2017, Pearl Carpenter has been on a mission to spread health and happiness through naturally grown food and flowers. Her chemical-free farm has evolved into a beloved community destination where people connect and grow. At The Farmacy Farmstand, you’ll find more than just produce; it’s a space built for community! Pearl offers garden yoga and wellness events, U-pick flower gardens & craft classes, free story times for kids, a little lending library and more.
By hosting Roots & Roasts, Pearl opens the doors to the very model of connection we champion. Her farm is a living example of how a local food space can become the root of a stronger, happier, and more connected community.
