The Organic Agronomy Training Series (OATS) is a collaboratively managed, science-based train-the-trainer program for agricultural professionals working with organic or transitioning producers in the United States. We seek to grow domestic organic production by strengthening the educational support network of agronomists, certified crop advisors, extension agents, and technical service providers serving certified organic grain producers.
Your support will bring this two-day pilot program to the lower Midwest. It will feature expert trainers delivering science-based content to 50+ agronomists, crop consultants, exten- sion agents, and technical service providers who will then be more prepared to offer support to the region’s emerging organic grain farmers.
